Do you have Raynaud's Disease?
Raynaud’s Disease is a nasty disease that can make your fingers and toes very cold and numb. our symptoms may be triggered by sudden cold, stress, emotions or the use of certain medications such as beta-blockers. Your body reacts to these changes, where your small arteries temporarily cramp, resulting in a decrease in the blood supply to your feet. Your capillaries are located in your fingers and toes, among other places.
When such an attack happens, your toes and fingers discolour, first white, then blue, then red or purple.

It might seem obvious, but the best thing you can do if you have Raynaud’s Disease is to keep your hands and feet warm. This includes on days when it’s not so cold. ust touching cold surfaces can trigger an attack, so wearing heated gloves(even indoors) can provide relief for many people.
In addition, you can try to find out what situations trigger attacks. Is it stress, or anxiety perhaps? If so, try to avoid them as much as possible. Do symptoms surface during certain activities at work? If so, discuss with your employer what changes and adjustments are possible.
Did you know that there some medications can make cold hands and feet worse? One such example is beta-blockers, a treatment for high bood pressure. Always inform your doctor that you suffer from Raynaud’s Disease before receiving treatment.

Which gloves should I buy?
There are people who benefit from gloves with silver wire, unfortunately this is not true for everyone. A good solution is to wear electrically heated gloves. These include our HeatPerformance Ultra thin heated gloves. These gloves emit 50°C of heat within 30 seconds.
The fabric is thin enough that the glove does not restrict you in your activities in and around the home, while working, lifting, grasping – you can do everything you would normally do while wearing them. The thermal conductors are on the back of the hand and at the top of the fingers, so you can grasp everything without worrying about damaging anything. The battery is also so small that it will never get in your way.
The thumb and forefingers have a special touchscreen fabric, so you can keep your gloves on to operate your phone.
The gloves are thin enough to wear under your gloves to protect you on cold winter days.
